The strongest (and only!) argument atheists and skeptics have mustered in an effort to claim that God does not exist is the presence of suffering in the world. They insist that an all-powerful, all-loving God would not allow suffering to run rampant and create so much misery. But this claim fails to grasp the purpose of the world and human existence.
