Dewayne Bryant

Dr. Dewayne Bryant is a graduate of Lipscomb University, where he received a B.A. in History (1998) and a M.A. in Bible (2003). He also holds a M.A. in Bible from Reformed Theological Seminary (2000) and a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Old Testament from Amridge University (2017). He has additional coursework in Biblical and Near Eastern Archaeology and Languages from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (2004-2006). He has participated in archaeological excavations at Tell El-Borg in Egypt and holds professional memberships in the American Schools of Oriental Research, the Society of Biblical Literature, the Archaeological Institute of America, and the International Society of Christian Apologetics. He has written three books, including 12 Compelling Truths: Why Biblical Faith is Completely Reasonable and Rediscovering Jesus: Finding God’s Son Among Counterfeit Christs. He currently serves as a minister at the New York Avenue church of Christ in Arlington, TX.
