Giving Thanks to God
Our God is truly an awesome God who deserves all praise and thanksgiving. As we prepare for a day of thanksgiving, let us take the time to reflect on all the reasons we have to be thankful, and let us honor the One who is worthy of all thanksgiving.
Psalm 100:4-5
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
For the LORD is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.
Psalm 107:1,8-9
Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever….
Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
For He satisfies the longing soul,
And fills the hungry soul with goodness.
Psalm 75:1
We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks!
For Your wondrous works declare that Your name is near.
