The Discovery Bible Cards and Expansion Pack #1 are an exciting, engaging, and educational way to learn more about God’s Word. Each of these durable, high-quality cards features a Biblical person, animal, plant, place, event, or key moment from the Bible. There are 365 cards in the original set, and the cards are divided into 18 different “series” that organize the cards into collectible “sets within the set.” The series are:
The Expansion Pack #1 includes 160 cards and is divided into 12 different “series.” These are:
Each card features the new Discovery logo stamped in gold foil on the front, along with an artistic representation of the person/event being featured. At the bottom of the front of each card, you will find the following information:
1. The name of the series in which the card is included (on the bottom/left of the card) 2. The name of the person/event (on the bottom/middle of the card) 3. A circle with two numbers (on the bottom/right of the card) 4. The top number in the circle is the number of the card within that series; for example, “#21 of 34” 5. The bottom number in the circle is the number of the card within the overall/complete set; for example, “#307”
The back of each card contains the following information: 6. Several “Fast Facts” about the person/event, taken from the Scriptures 7. Scripture references that can be used to learn more 8. A short moral or lesson that can be learned from studying the person/event
Within Set #1 of 365 cards are 20 “premium cards” that are more “rare.” These cards are not more “important,” but they are coated with a special finish that gives them a “shiny” look and will be fun to collect. Be on the lookout for these “premium cards” as you collect your Discovery Bible Cards! The twenty premium cards are displayed below.
Expansion Pack #1
There are several new features included in the Expansion Pack #1. You will find “motion” cards that change as you tilt the card. You will also find 3D cards that give a realistic 3D image as they move within your hand. Theme cards have been added to complement several of the new series. These include an ultra-thick card with a shiny gilded edge. Also be on the lookout for rare, numbered, limited-edition, monochromatic/holofoil variant cards.
Purchasing Options:
Single Packs – The single pack of Discovery Bible Cards will contain 10 cards. Although we cannot guarantee which cards will be in any of the single packs, we can guarantee that there will be no duplicate cards within any one pack. In other words, you will get 10 different cards in a single pack.
5-Pack Boxes– The 5-Pack Box contains 5 packs of Discovery Bible Cards, for a total of 50 cards. Within this box, you will find at least 2 “premium cards,” and there will be no duplicate cards within the box. In other words, you will get 50 different cards in the 5-Pack Box.
40-Pack Boxes – The 40-Pack Box contains 40 packs of Discovery Bible Cards and is guaranteed to include the entire set of 365 cards, which includes the 20 “premium cards.” In addition to the 365-card set, you will get 35 duplicate cards, for a total of 400 cards. This purchasing option is ideal for churches, as well as anyone who wants to collect the entire set of cards.
Note: Though each pack of 10 cards will have a window showing the first card in the pack, the other 9 cards in each pack are completely random. AP does not have a way of knowing which cards are in each pack. Asking for specific cards is not a request we can fill. Outside of buying the complete box set of 400, AP can not guarantee receiving specific cards upon purchase. Each pack is random, which is part of the fun!
