AP Personal-Carry Bible Now in Spanish!
A few years ago, I had the privilege of traveling to Central America with about 50 fellow Christians from the U.S. Before we left, everyone was encouraged to pack Spanish-language teaching materials—including Bibles—to distribute while studying with people in the communities we visited.
As we were handing out those Bibles and studying with interested individuals, my translator made a troubling discovery. Some of the Spanish Bibles that had been brought from the United States contained “the sinner’s prayer” in the opening pages. Before continuing our work, we immediately began removing those pages by hand.
I’ve never forgotten that experience.
For many years, Apologetics Press has been blessed to provide hundreds of Spanish-language resources online, including articles, correspondence courses, and downloadable books. Yet one important resource had been missing: a trustworthy Spanish Bible that also included carefully selected, biblically sound study material.
By the grace of God, that has now changed.
We are excited to announce the release of AP’s first-ever Spanish personal-carry Bible. Using the Nueva Biblia de las Américas (NBLA) translation, this attractive edition also contains more than 100 pages of AP’s foundational Bible study material, including book summaries, outlines, and practical study helps designed to encourage a deeper understanding of God’s Word.
One of the blessings of working at AP is seeing faithful Christians make projects like this possible. What was once only an idea has become a reality. We hope you will consider placing this Bible into the hands of Spanish-speaking friends, neighbors, coworkers, or family members who are searching for the truth.
The need for such a resource is significant. Nearly 65 million people in the U.S. speak Spanish, and hundreds of millions more do so throughout the world. We pray this Bible will become a valuable tool for personal evangelism, new converts, visitors, classrooms, and congregations wherever Spanish is spoken. We also hope that Christians will consider taking these Bibles with them on future mission trips to Mexico, Spain, Central and South America, and the Caribbean.
Our prayer is that God’s Word will continue to spread, “grow mightily and prevail” (Acts 19:20), and that this new Spanish Bible will help lead many precious souls to Christ.
