A.P. Benefit Dinner, September 6th
Most of our readers are aware that Apologetics Press is recognized by the government as a 501(c)(3), non-profit, tax-exempt organization. That means, among other things, that the majority of our financial resources come to us through donations from churches and individuals who support us in our work in the Lord’s Kingdom. Without such generous donations, we simply could not provide the ministry resources that we do to spread the Gospel.
To that end, Apologetics Press is hosting a benefit dinner in North Alabama this fall. It will take place on September 6th, 2012 at the Florence Boulevard church of Christ in Florence, Alabama and will start at 6:30 PM. There is no charge for the dinner and everyone is welcome. It will consist of a catered meal and a brief presentation about the work at Apologetics Press. The purpose of the event is to raise money for A.P. and, equally as important, to raise awareness about our work.
At Apologetics Press, we see ourselves as an organization that provides tools that can be used in virtually all aspects of Christian ministry. Bible class teachers can use our materials to teach young people. Preachers can use our materials for in-depth research. Missionaries often distribute our materials in their evangelistic efforts. Concerned Christians, who are involved in chat rooms and other Web outreach, find our articles to be excellent tools to answer challenges to their faith and defend the truth. And many of our supporters have found ways to donate A.P. materials to local libraries and public schools.
We are eternally grateful to all of those who have “shared with us” (Philippians 4:15) financially in our work in the Kingdom. We continue to marvel at the blessings of our God, Who has supplied all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We would be thrilled for you to partner with us in our work, and we would certainly be encouraged by your presence at the benefit dinner on September 6th. We will need an approximate count for the caterer, so if you plan to come, please send me an e-mail at [email protected], or contact me by phone at 334-201-4362.
